Inspection Services
Oceanwill’s Operations and Maintenance division stands as a pillar of reliability, offering comprehensive and certified inspection services crucial for the safety, efficiency, and longevity of energy-sector assets. Our detailed inspections are designed to meet the rigorous demands of the oil and gas industry as well as offshore wind renewable fields, ensuring your operations are not only compliant with all regulations but also optimised for performance.
Third-Party Inspections
Our third-party inspection services offer an unbiased and independent review of various aspects of your projects and equipment, ensuring they meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and your own specifications.
Welding Inspection
Our certified welding inspectors are accredited under the Certification Scheme for Welding and Inspection Personnel (CSWIP 3.1), bringing a high level of expertise and a commitment to quality in assessing welding work’s compliance with specified standards.
Paint Inspection
Oceanwill’s paint inspectors are certified by CSWIP BGAS and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), offering comprehensive inspection services that ensure your paint applications and corrosion protections meet stringent industry standards.
Material Inspection
Our team conducts thorough 3.2 level material inspections, providing independent verification of your materials’ compliance with standards and specifications. This service is crucial for guaranteeing the quality and integrity of the materials used in high-stake environments.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
Our NDT services utilise advanced technology to assess the properties of materials, components, or systems without causing damage. This is essential for foreseeing risks and preventing potential operational failures.
Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI)
DPI is a widely applied and low-cost inspection method used to locate surface-breaking defects in all non-porous materials. Our inspectors use this technique to identify defects that are invisible to the naked eye, ensuring the integrity of your assets.
Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
MPI is used for detecting surface and near-surface flaws in ferromagnetic materials. Our certified professionals use this method to reveal cracks and weaknesses hidden to the human eye.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
UT is employed to detect internal flaws, measure material thickness, and determine material properties. Our skilled inspectors utilise UT to safely and non-invasively inspect your operations, ensuring structural integrity and reliability.
All of our NDT inspectors are certified under ISO 9712 and the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), ensuring they possess the knowledge, skill, and competence to perform these critical tests effectively and reliably.
